This collection contains the personal papers, rough copies of publications, genealogies, and church histories and records of Mabel Freeman La Far. The churches included in the collection are Corinth Baptist Church, Screven County, Independent Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Church of Savannah. Also included is a manuscript copy of the Charleston, S.C. City Directory, 1849, and copies of Chatham County Court House Wills, 1773-1817. Also included is the Revolutionary pay roll, 1779. of Lt. Col. John McIntosh, 3rd Georgia Continental Battalion All except the correspondence and printed materials are copies of originals.
